Repeat the Sounding Joy
Every December we hold a special evening service called the Good Shepherd Band Christmas Sing-A-Long. It’s a night for pulling out the stops in celebration of the Incarnation of our Lord. A contemporary take on the traditional Lessons and Carols service.
In celebration of our 5th annual Christmas Sing-A-Long, we thought it was time to take our favorite Sing-A-Long arrangements and put them to record. Start to finish, this album was produced in-house by us. That is, down the hall, in the Sunday School rooms. Many thanks to all the wonderful folks who gave of their time to make this record possible. God bless, and merry Christmas!
Glorious Things
GLORIOUS THINGS features songs from our work as worship leaders in our local church. This is our first attempt at presenting to the world a robust vision for worship reformation. Songs on this album include old texts set with new tunes, old texts with old tunes in a contemporary setting, and a couple of new texts and tunes of our own composition. Our aim with Glorious Things (and future projects like it) is to serve the local Church by providing her with theologically rich songs that are strong and masculine, pairing them with arrangements that help magnify the glory of God's unchanging truth.
Wake Up Sleeper
WAKE UP SLEEPER is our attempt to recover and proclaim the themes of Final Judgment and Christian warfare that used to adorn the church but are so despised and neglected today. It is a call to action: to wake up, fight the good fight, and secure yourself in the arms of Jesus Christ in order to be saved from the coming Judgment.
